VISITORS TO SCHOOL CAMPUSES

Visitor Guidelines

Welcome to our campus! To keep our students and staff safe, all visitors—including LAUSD employees from other sites, guest speakers, and staff family members—must follow these guidelines.

📋 Before You Arrive

• Approval Required: All visitors and non-enrolled children must have prior approval from the Principal or a designee.

• Bring ID: Be ready to show identification when checking in or picking up a student.

• Guest Speakers: Teachers must get prior administrator approval for guest speakers and their topics. Please complete the Activity Request Form in the Main Office. 

🚶 When You Arrive

1. Sign In: Immediately sign in upon entering the school.

2. Get a Pass: Put on your yellow visitor’s permit and wear it at all times.

3. Go to the Office: Go straight to the main office unless you are attending a planned school event or heading to the Parent Center.

🍎 During Classroom Observations

To ensure our teachers can focus entirely on their students, please follow these classroom rules:

• Enter and leave as quietly as possible.

• Do not interrupt: Do not talk to the teacher, students, or instructional aides during the lesson.

• No scheduling in class: If you want to speak with the teacher, go to the office afterward to leave a message and schedule an appointment. Do not try to book an appointment during class time.

🛑 General Expectations & Departures

• Behavior: Follow all school rules. Be safe, respectful, responsible, and a peacemaker.

• No Disruptions: Do not interfere with any school activities.

• Sign Out: Return your yellow permit and sign out before leaving campus.

⚠️ Notice: Anyone who disrupts the campus or fails to follow these rules will be asked to leave and may be banned from future visits.
